Court may order CBI to inquie about the violence in Kannoor

The violence in Kannoor district in Kerala is nothing new. It is been going on for many years between the CPM and the RSS. People get killed from both sides. And the political parties usually get some petty criminal to take this crime for the party. The leaders involved in the actual planning of the killing is never arrested. This is because of the lack of freedom for the police to investigate properly. The politicians will decide whom to be arrested and give the list from party office and the police will arrest the person. That is how it is going on for all these years. Now the high court is interfering in the investigation as the court is starting to understand the true nature of what is happening in Kannoor. Court is threatening the state government that it will order a CBI inquiry if the investigation is not done properly. It is the right thing to do. What we have to see is if even the CBI will have the freedom to do the proper investigation in Kannoor.
