Is Prakash Karat trying to create enemity between India and Israel?

Yesterday, there was a comment from CPM leader Prakash Karat asking for an end to economic and political relation ships between India and Israel. Now he is citing the plight of the Palestinians as a reason. But the Palestinians are to be blamed to a great extent for their plight since they support terrorist outfit Hamaz, whose proclaimed aim is the annhilation of Israel. Under former US president Bill Clinton's initiative, the deal brokered between Israel and Palestine was as best as any they could possibly got. Hamaz continued with their violence and the Palestinians are themselves to blaim for their support of Hamaz.

In Mr. Karat's statement, he is actually looking for the Muslim vote bank. It was the same reason they forced Thasleema Nasreen leave Calcutta. It is a sensible move since the fanatics are the ones who are sure to go to the voting booth. The liberals and moderates skip elections to a large extent. So it is a smart move for vote gaining purposes for any party to woo extremists. They are the ones who make a lot of noise too.

I am wondering why Mr. Karat is keeping mum about China's infiltration in the north eastern states of India, especially Arunachal Pradesh. He would like to keep a deaf year towards Chinese aggressions as they did in 1962. Since China is a fellow communist country, they probably prefer them conquering India than democracy prevailing in India. Israel is a democracy too. Probably that is another reason for Mr. Karat's dislike of Israel. Communists always preferred autocrats like Stalin, Saddam Hussein, Hugo Chavez and Vladimir Putin.
