The left bothers over the lack of increase in tax rate for the rich!!

Well.. They can ponder over this for however long they want. But the truth of the matter is that high taxes will scare the rich away from India. Already the taxes for air tickets are in the range of 500% or 600%. That is like the highest on the planet. Whereas the same in US is like 7% or so. If you raise it further, who among the rich is going to stay here. Remember, they have all the choice in the world. They can move to pretty much any where on the world as they can afford it. Further more the western world welcomes any one who can bring in revenue to their economy. The reason is that they understand that the rich are going to spend more in the community where they live. This helps the community where they live in many ways. Tax payment to the local economy is one of them. Hiring of services is another way the local people are going to benefit.
